I dont know if its because we share in a similar cohort by age, education, locale; or if you are just really astute to your audience’s background and interests; but, from where I stand, Mr & Mrs Jones—>> you have a real knack for getting and keeping one’s attention. More directly put, you make it difficult to ignore your activities when you name a podcast after Stephen Covey’s Best Seller, “THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE“.

I recall it was on an early Winter November Ski Trip to Killington, Vt, I bought Covey’s first edition in 1989 as part of a leadership series I was participating in during early post-MBA work, along with later lectures by Peter Drucker, Jay Galbraith, and others focused on Corp Strategy.

Here again, you do practice what you preach. As one long-standing common thread that I’ve witnessed you gleaning from this book is the habit of accepting only WIN-WIN interactions in all your activities and negotiations with people. I’d bet there are other Covey habits that you have incorporated into your thinking over the years.
